Dinner Lingo
Studies show that sitting down for family meals offers numerous benefits for kids and parents. Additionally, learning a language stimulates your brain and builds confidence. Our goal with this product is to help families and individuals combine language learning and mealtime for a fun and yummy experience!
Our Dinner Lingo flip charts have fifty 5 minute conversation prompts in Spanish from introductions to interpreting famous paintings. Each page has a QR code to listen to native speakers. Included are three field trips to practice your target language outside the home.
This product, created by a language acquisition professor and an elementary education teacher, is filled with rich vocabulary and experiences that your family will love!
CONVERSATIONS
Each conversation includes the Spanish phrase, translated in English underneath. A represents one person and B represents another person. There is lots of vocabulary and the QR code can help with pronunciation!
PRACTICE AND GRAMMAR TIPS
Practice tips explain the conversation and may give you more vocabulary or ideas of how to extend the conversation. The grammar tip teaches a simple grammar principle related to that conversation.
